Art of Tea Contest | Terms & Conditions

ELIGIBILITY

No purchase necessary. This Contest (the "Contest") is open to residents residing in Hong Kong and Macau only. Employees, directors, officers and principals of the Organisation, its subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, agents and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate. By entering the Contest, entrants (the “Entrants”) agree to allow the Organisation to contact them throughout the Contest and after the Contest via email promotions. Entrants also agree to waive any rights their state or country of residence may provide in regard to contests. This Contest is void where prohibited by law. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter.

HOW TO ENTER

Entrants will enter the contest by completing both Step 1 and Step 2 of the Contest.

Step 1: Entrants must color in the Harney coloring page. Entrants must either print off the coloring page and color the image or screenshot the coloring page on the Entrant’s phone or tablet and color the image using the Entrant’s phone or tablet’s markup tools.

Step 2: Entrants must either submit their completed coloring page via emailing hello@harney.com.hk or post a photo of their completed coloring page on Instagram using #ArtofTeaContest and tag @harneyteas.hk.

PROMOTION PERIOD

The Contest starts on or around 14:00 (GMT+8) on April 6, 2020 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (GMT+8) on April 14, 2020 (the "Promotion Period").

SELECTION OF WINNERS

Qualified Entrants will be eligible to win one of five HK$100 gift cards and a Limited Edition Lunar New Year tea sachets tin. Winners will be selected, from among all eligible entries received, by a representative of the Organisation and notified after April 14, 2020. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means are prohibited and will be automatically disqualified. Decisions are final in all matters relating to this Contest. Winners will be notified by email or social media DM for further instructions.

PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING

Each winner will receive a HK$100 Harney gift card and a Lunar New Year Limited Edition tea sachet tin. Odds of winning depend on the quality of the coloring page submitted and the subjective opinion of the Organisation’s judges.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

This Contest is governed by the laws of HKSAR. This Contest is void where prohibited by law. Winners will be notified via email or social media DM. Failure to respond within 48 hours will mean the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected. No cash alternative or substitution of any prizes will be offered. No prize transfer is permitted. Limit one prize per Entrant. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and the decisions of the Organization are final and binding in all respects. All taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By participating and accepting a prize, so long as there is no legal prohibition, winners agree to the use of their names for advertising or publicity purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to them relating to the Organisation or this Contest, and releases any and all rights to said use without further compensation.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

All Entrants release the Organisation, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the development and execution of the Organisation and the Contest from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Contest and/or acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury, death, damages or loss. The Organisation is not responsible for entries that are corrupted or otherwise not received correctly or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email, or on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to Entrant’s or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in the Contest. The Organisation assumes no responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Contest or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. The Organisation assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, including lost, late or misdirected entries. The Organisation is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any Entrants. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the Contest, or defraud the Organisation in any way, may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Entrants engaging in any of the foregoing activities will be disqualified, and any prizes won will be forfeited. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Organisation which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Organisation reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.
